Family Weekend

Registration

Registration for Family Weekend is available at no cost on the 49er Family Hub, but we do ask that families register for the weekend. This provides us with an accurate count for attendance and provides us with information needed to prepare welcome bags, staff for each event, etc. Please note that certain events during the weekend require a separate registration and fee. Below is the breakdown of the fees for the different TSI sponsored events taking place during Family Weekend. 

Registration dates coming soon. Family Council members will receive a separate email with details about Family Weekend and instructions about registration.

Registration for all TSI sponsored events will take place on the 49er Family Hub. If you have not completed your profile, we encourage you to do so before registration to save time when registering for Family Weekend.

When does Family Weekend take place?
Spring Family Weekend 2024 will take place in April, exact dates are not yet determined. Fall Family Weekend 2024 dates are not yet available but more information will be coming soon.

When does Family Weekend registration close?

Can I register over the phone? 
Unfortunately, you are unable to register over the phone. Registration is required online through your 49er Family Hub account.

Are refunds available?
If you are requesting a refund, you must do so in writing to family@charlotte.edu.

Is parking a part of my ticket purchase for Family Weekend?
No parking is not included in the price of Family Weekend.

For parking information/guidelines for the football game, please reference the Football Parking site from Parking and Transportation Services. Options for single game parking are outlined here. Parking for the football game can be purchased here.

Parking information for other events and where to purchase parking will be sent out after registration closes to the primary registrant's email. 

What can guests bring to the football stadium?
To see what guests can bring to the football stadium, visit the Charlotte 49ers website and scoll to Game Day Information.

If I have questions about Family Weekend, who do I contact?
Contact the Transition & Success Initiatives at family@charlotte.edu between the hours of 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m, Monday through Friday.

Transition & Success Initiatives will work diligently to provide requested reasonable accessibility resources or accommodations to guests registered for Family Weekend. In order to provide the necessary accommodations, registrants will have to indicate their needs on the Family Weekend registration form.
