Briana became a member of the Transition & Success Initiatives team in September 2022. Originally from the lively Garden State of New Jersey, she earned her degree in sociology from Montclair State University, where she discovered her passion for supporting youth, families, and communities. Briana furthered her education at North Carolina State University, earning a Master of Research in Youth, Families, and Community Sciences.
At UNC Charlotte, Briana leads family and supporter initiatives, crafting dynamic programs that make college transitions smoother and more exciting for students and their families. As a first-generation graduate, she understands firsthand the challenges and triumphs of navigating higher education, which fuels her passion to empower others in similar situations. Her favorite traditions, like Family Weekend and First-Generation Appreciation Day, are all about building connections and creating unforgettable memories.
When she’s not busy bringing people together through fun activities, you can catch Briana whipping up delicious treats in the kitchen, exploring the culinary gems of Charlotte, spending quality time with her loved ones, or diving into her latest crochet project.
