Shania Johnson

Shania joined the Transition & Success Initiatives as a Student Coordinator in August 2024. A transfer student, she previously attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro before graduating from Central Piedmont Community College with an Associate in Arts degree. While at Central Piedmont, Shania served as a Peer Mentor for TRIO Student Support Services. After graduating, she interned at Mecklenburg County Community Support Services. Currently, she is a prospective Social Work student, aspiring to support underserved communities. In her free time, Shania enjoys trying new foods, exploring activities, thrifting, listening to music, spending time with friends and her partner, and watching television.
